I paid for 1st quality but received 2nd quality

the shoe is comfortable and fits well. the construction of the shoe indicates it is a 2nd quality yet I paid full value for the shoes. I would like to be contacted to have this rectified.

Bought my 4th pair of MacNeils, but this pair squeaks badly

I'd have to say that MacNeils are probably my favourite shoe, and I bought my fourth pair recently, in oxblood.
They look great, but sadly this pair squeaks badly. Both shoes. I think I've traced it down to the welt, near the front of the shoe. Even pressing on the leather near to the medallion gets a squeak.
I'm in England so cannot return to a store

These are my overall favorite AE shoes, hands down. I love my Strands for style, the Park Avenues for straight formal elegance, the Cornwallis for pop and pizzaz, the McAllister's for understated cool, but if I had to combine everything into one shoe, this is it. Style, comfort, and noticeability all in one. The box is very roomy, the heels fit snug without biting, and of course they are AE's with some of the nicest leather and high quality finish available on the market today. I keep LOOKING for more reasons to wear this shoe. And I smile when I can't figure out how to wear them or with what, and wear them ANYWAY, because they are so versatile. I know full well that LESS broguing is more formal, but the long, full wingtip just says semi-formal or suit to me. I love this shoe.
