An American made classic!

The quality of the material and the craftsmanship is immediately evident. You are not getting cheap shoes. The look is distinctly masculine and classic. The colors are subtle. If I had any complaint, it would be the burnishing. I have numerous AE shoes but, I try to avoid the burnished ones. Burnishing comes with age- not spray.
I bought my first pair of AE shoes when most shoes were made in America. Today I continue to support this tradition of craftsmanship.

This is a man’s shoe. The thick sole and detailed wingtip broguing are classic American details that look good with anything from a suit to jeans. Allen Edmonds longwing blucher sets the mark for this style of shoe.

I ordered a pair of 12 D oxblood colored MacNeil Wingtips and they are awesome. The fit is true to size. The color is a rich looking red/brown and very similar to a cordovan leather shoe. The double sole gives the shoe a confident look and appearance. Definitely a winner on all points. The shoes are comfortable but will need a break in period due to the double oak sole. But trust me, you won’t mind. It will be a toss up between my dark chili Park Avenues and these when I wear them. For a more formal event, I would suggest the Park Avenues. But these shoes look fantastic and gives one a confident stance and posture. People will notice these shoes. My personal opinion is that these shoes are a better purchase than the Alden Longwings. Both shoes are great. But for the money, this is a better investment.
