These are not my first pair. As I travel constantly with my business, I select one or two pair of shoes for my trip out which may be for two and three week periods. Therefore must have comfort and ability to wear for various occasions. A/E is always in great taste, comfortable and are recognizable by collegues and precede my reputation.

I purchased the MacNeil in dark chili during the Black Friday sale. It was on back order for a few weeks and it arrived just after Christmas,which would’ve been a problem if it were a gift-however it was for myself so it wasn’t a problem. I love the classic longwing blucher and the MacNeil is a beautiful example,the sleekness of its last has always set it apart from other “gunboats” and the dark chili looks great with many combinations.

Great shoes. 9.5 M fits true to size. Great leather smell. Traditional style inspired by the original brogues back in Ireland, but the Wisco take on these badboys has raised the bar. Nice sloping profile. No bulky lines. Weight is perfect. I might get some Vibram rubber soles for the slick sidewalks. Chick magnet guarantee!

I also have the MACNEIL 2.0 dark chili and the quality in it is better than the MACNEIL I just purchased.
