I ordered two pairs (walnut and dark chili) that are factory seconds. The flaws in each pair are so minor that the casual observer will never notice. The fit is perfect. I wore them both right out of the box all day and they felt fine. The quality of material is top-notch. I have two other pair of AE shoes (park ave. and kenilworth), which are also remarkably comfortable. In fact, I had ordered a pair of shoes from Johnston and Murphy, but when I tried them on I immediately put them back in the box and sent them back. No comparison to the quality of materials and construction of AE shoes. I realize that once you wear AE you simply can't go back to mass produced shoes made from inferior materials. Great job AE, keep it up!

The shoes run half size large.

My true size is 9.5E, which was what I ordered. When I received the shoes, they were too long. I was able to place two fingers in heel. If you are first time buying Allen Edmonds shoes, you should double check your size at local AE store. otherwise, you will need to waste three more weeks to get the accurate size.

Style like no other

Classic shoes, great customer service, easy to buy with free shipping, no worry if size or style doesn't work knowing that free returns are available. I wear these shoes every day all day. Soles last about a year. Re crafting is an option, but is an investment.
