The longwing is a timeless favorite design to me. However, this shoe had uppet leather that looked ironed as opposed to stretched. That caused the leather to puff up and wrinkle when moisturizing. Second issue was 5 eyelets instead of 6. Third, the stitching is not consistently centered around the brogues. This is a problem Allen Edmonds has on most of their balmoral shoes. Lastly, one if the pieces of leather had a fly bite in it. Not a big deal. But premium shoe leather never has this.
