I bought my first pair of Mephistos in the 1980s but it was not till I realized that Nordstrom sold these great walking shoes that I was able to wear them at work and play. More striking as I got older my left foot became a half size smaller that my right foot.It was a problem but Nordstrom came to the rescue allowing me to buy split fit Mephistos, the only store in the USA that does that. Which led me to consider new Mephisto models for the first time. And this is just one example of why Nordstrom is the best store for me and all my clothing needs. great products, great service and great, unmatched help
Other buyers had recommended buying a half size smaller as they run large. Glad I did, they fit well. Initially, they felt stiff but are now comfortable after a brief break in. Thus far, I am happy with the purchase and appears to be a quality product.

My last pair lasted 7 years with a couple resole and stitching touch-ups. Online ordering simple and easy, delivered right to my door. Most comfortable shoe i've ever owned. Spend a lot of time on my feet at work so good shoes are a must. These fit the bill.

"Match" = "Game"!

The Mephisto Match Walking Shoe is a "winner" right out of the box. I thought that I would need a break in period for these shoes, however, they felt great right away; no break in period required. The "match" is a beautiful, well made shoe with plenty of support. I wear a size 10.5 and found this shoe to be true to size. I initially wore this shoe while strolling through Epcot. I must say that the "Match" is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn.
