I've actually bought a pair of these about maybe 4 years ago when they first came out. They're super comfy and classy which is why I'm buying them again. I love Athena Alexander!

I bought this pair about a year and a half ago and they are now broken in the shaft on the bottom of the shoe. Nordstroms is good about returns but after 1 1/2 years I didn't think it was right. And for the price, I don't think they should have broken so soon. Also, I wear a size 7.5 and had to buy a 9. I guess if this is any indication of the quality, then I should have anticipated this. I wore them at work, so it isn't like I was hard on them. Normally shoes last me quite a long time, even wearing them every day. I loved the heel height and the design, but I would be hesitant to order them again. At the same time, I bought another pair of Athena shoes only with a higher heel. I hope the same thing doesn't happen to them, although I don't wear them as often.

I bought both the Red and Camel colors for my wife. She is a real "shoe hound" and not easily pleased. As a former Size 5 shoe model, she knows about shoes. She is VERY HAPPY with my selections. The shoes are SEXY and COMFORTABLE she says. Looks like I've scored some points with this purchase!

I read the earlier review and bought an 8 instead of my usual size 7. The 8 fit perfectly! I love these slides. Very cute and surprisingly comfortable. I wish the heel was a little wider, as the shoe is slightly wobbly, but that is my only concern.
