I wish I could give this 5 stars. Reason for just 4 was that they just don't really hide THAT much. I was hoping for a more regular Spanx type feel around my hips and butt and thighs. I think it's difficult to accommodate a baby bump and get maximum flab tightening coverage, so I get it. These are definitely better than the Motherhood Maternity brand shaper, though. So many maternity dresses are form fitting, I thought this would be the problem solver. I'm on baby #2, definitely didn't lose all the baby weight first time around, so I'm kinda squeezing myself into my maternity clothes from my first pregnancy. I was hoping these would be the problem solver. For some dresses it's a big improvement. I live in a very hot climate and am hoping that I can deal with wearing these in the summer (due in August).
These are an awesome staple item if you're looking to smooth things out under a tight dress. I'm 5/4 and 150 lbs so I bought a size C just to make sure they wouldn't be too tight and then cause some unwanted bulging. Unfortunately they were a bit loose and had way too much material to handle or hide. I would highly recommend sizing down a little. Exchanged mine for a B and they were perfect. They are not as tight as normal spanx or even panty hose, but they will smooth you out and make you look amazing. Highly recommend!
