I absolutely love Mario Badescu's products! My skin is oily and sensitive and has been plagued by extremely stubborn hormonal acne for over 10 years. I've tried literally hundreds of products, from drug store brands to high-end brands and prescription treatments, and I generally don't end up repurchasing them. But I am nearing the end of my first bottle of the Special Cucumber Lotion, and I am repurchasing it today! My skin has shown so much improvement since I started using this toner (along with the Enzyme Cleansing Gel and the Drying Lotion for spot treatment), and this past week, my skin has been blemish-free for the first time in several years! My skin's overall texture and tone has improved significantly, as well. I seriously cannot say enough good things about the Mario Badescu brand - his products are gentle and soothing yet extremely effective. I actually look forward to my daily skincare routine now!

I am a huge Mario Badescu fan and like their products. This toner keeps my skin clean and refreshed and especially, helps keep any breakouts at bay.

This really deep cleans! It works great and does not dry up my skin. I haven't used it for to long so I don't see any difference with acne yet,

I purchased the products geared toward acne control since none contained ingredients that had irritated my skin in the past. I used the Glycolic Foaming Cleanser, the Special Cucumber lotion, and the AHA & Ceramide moisturizer in the morning (I decided to stick with Kiehl's for my evening moisturizers to prevent overdrying). For the first couple of days this seemed okay, but within three days I was having some pretty extensive peeling and my foundation was looking cakey. My breakouts were better, but I was not pleased with the texture of my skin. I didn't really care for the smell of the products at all either. They smelled old and musty to me, which isn't a huge deal but it's something to note if you're sensitive to product smells.
