I originally tried the Cucumber Cleansing Lotion, and found it entirely too harsh. I have combination skin with an oily t-zone, and that seemed better suited for oily skin. I'd received a sample of this and it was a much gentler yet still astringent toner. I like to use an astringent toner in the mornings, as I used Perricone MD pore refining products that require this. At night, I prefer a gentler toner like Clarins. This is decent, gets the job done, and is cost-effective. Thumbs up for a semi-gentle astringent toner for combination skin.

I use this toner with the Enzyme Cleansing Gel and I love it! The smell takes time to get used to but this is a gentle toner so I love it! It does not "tingle" like alcohol toners and I like this, it doesn't leave my face feeling tight or dry. And I think it really helped get rid of my acne scars!
