I like this a lot. It smells fresh and it is a good cleanser. My skin feels smooth even without exfoliating (which I used to always have to do), and clean. Don't get this if you like a face wash with exfoliators or one that lathers up because this doesn't. It is a gel and I had to get used to the feeling but it cleans very well plus no breakouts.
I first tried this Enzyme Cleansing Gel in the Mario Badescu Latest & Greatest Set, and loved it so much that I had to order another bottle! For reference, I have normal, but sensitive, skin that is always clear; however, I had a few hospital stays over the past month, and was on an IV receiving a lot of meds, so my skin broke out. When I got home, I found that my normal face wash (Neutrogena) was drying out my skin, and burning it - so I tried this. Obsessed! I've been using this for two weeks now, and it has cleared up the breakout, without drying my skin. The smell is pleasant, without being cloying or overwhelming. While there is no lather, you can feel the gel really working when you wash; and the after effect is heavenly - your skin doesn't feel dry or tight, just 100% clean. Highly recommend for all skin types!
So details first, I’m 14 with a normalish skin type. I also have lot of acne in my forehead and in between my eyebrows and the occasional pimple on my cheeks. The cleanser made the acne in my forehead to go down which was a relief. (Btw I used this cleanser with the exfoliater and the seaweed spray). The cleanser does not lather but the scent is quite strong. I’ve only been using the cleanser for a week but I can see a difference! The price is reasonable too. It takes some of my redness away and I think it’s quite a good product!
