The consistency of this cream is hydrating enough for my sensitive skin without being too goopy or irritating.

Prosmoisturizes
I use the Midnight Recovery at night and the Marine Cryste Firming eye cream during the day. Between the 2 I am very happy. This was my 2nd purchase of each. Specifically re: the Marine Cryste Firming eye treatment I really like the way it moisturizes under my make up. I use it first, then face moistuizer, then make up. I have noticed if I put my face moisturizer on immediately following application of the Marine Cryste Firming eye treatment that the eye cream seems a little waxy. If I wait just a minute all is fine and my eyes are nicely moisturized. The description says it minimizes dark circles. I haven't noticed those benefits, but I am not so concerned with that problem. I am 49 and mostly concerned with keeping the eye area moist. This product does a good job of that.

This product, after a week's use, does with a small amount, moisturize my eye area. It is a thick formula, and spreads best when I warm it a bit with my fingertips before applying. It also does not bleed off into my eyes causing irritation like many products have done for me in the past. As yet though, I have not noticed any improvement in eye area firmness or a minimizing in under-eye circles. Despite that, I like this product enough to stick with it for a month and hope to see some firmness begin to happen as well as a less tired eye look.

This cream moisturized the eye area but it's really thick and hard to use. It's almost like a wax, it's so thick. Since the eye area is so delicate, the last thing I want to do is rub this stuff in till it absorbs. I will not buy this again.
