hurrah for this product! After yeaaars of trying to get my partner to stop putting very cheap, heavily scented body lotion on his face I have finally cracked it! All other products have been rejected after one use - smell, texture etc were always a problem (I was bemused as I couldn't see that what he was using met his impossibly high criteria). Thank you Khiels - he is now a happy devotee.

I used to use this product in the warmer months and the Men's Ultimate After Shave Balm and Moisturizer for the cold weather. However, I can't do that anymore since you no longer make the balm. It seems Loreal is bent on undoing Kiehls , i.e.,(a) you changed the formula to the Soothing and Nourishing Moisturizer for Men which was a bad move, then you changed it back and then discontinued it, (b) you changed the formula for the White Eagle shaving cream, (c) discontinued making the lip gloss for women. Why? The balm is better for the cold weather months.

I stole this moisturizer from my boyfriend after I ran out of my own "girly" stuff and my skin has never looked nicer. It's light and instantly makes my skin feel moisturized and soft. I personally love the masculine smell and find it to be very clean and refreshing, not at all over powering and manly. I normally have very dry skin with occasional hormonal acne and using this product has helped balance out my skin to keep it healthy and glowing. When the winter months hit I use this in combination with night time recovery for flawless skin.

Fails To Penetrate Resulting In Flakes

ConsPerformance, doesn't penetrate/absorb into skin
I've used this moisturizer a number of days in a row with the same result each day. 10-20 minutes after use, if I touch my face, the moisturizer peels and flakes away from my skin. One might say, "Then don't touch your face!" Since I am likely to touch my face at some point during the day as an unconscious act, and I know that by doing so the unabsorbed Facial Fuel will flake on to my clothes or just collect in sticky moisture ropes on my face, I find myself washing my face again 20+ minutes after applying the cream. I've abandoned this moisturizer entirely and I still have a full container. This moisturizer in a complete waste of money.
