If you have never used a brush before, you simply do not understand how the face is to be prepped for shaving. Lather from a can serves more as a lubricant; lather via a brush serves a similar purpose, but with the mechanical effect of raising the beard for shaving. It really is common sense, but only after you try it. It is probably the single best thing that I have done to improve my shaving technique.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really love the Pure Badger Shaving Brush. It was soft delicate, yet gave a great lather and hit every spot in one easy swoosh! I loved how it rinsed easy and didn't hold a smell or get hard after it dried. I felt like it enhanced my shave and allowed me to get that perfect close shave I have been after.

The Art of Shaving Pure Badger Shaving Brush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a shaving brush before. I really enjoy using this brush. I can apply shaving cream where I want it very easily since I usually have a goatee. It is nice to not have to rinse my face thoroughly after shaving.
