I bought what I thought was a quality product of plated brass. Started to pit and the plating flaked off, turned out to be just pot metal. A professional refinishing company couldn't even repair it. Expensive junk!! Beware

I purchased the complete set of shaving material that also included the brush. I bought the razor separately from The Art of Shaving directly as I wanted the nickel plated razor and isn't available through Nordstrom. The stand fits both the razor and the brush perfectly and looks sleek in the bathroom.

This item was purchased for the brush and razor we had purchased earlier this year. The razor did not fit, in spite of information stating that it would. It was, after all, an item supposedly specifically created to hold the Art of Shaving brush and razor set.

I bought this and have had no problem with the razor or brush fitting, but the stand corrodes after use a short period of time. I would have thought at this price it would be a quality product but it is junk.
