This shoe caught my attention because of the beaded velcro strap. I was so thankful for previous review indicating these were a "diamond white". These shoes perfectly match my daughter's First Communion dress that is not stark white, but diamond white. I also agree, runs a little narrow.

This is a beautiful shoe with lovely detail. Unfortunately, wide doesn't really mean wide. I bought these shoes to accompany a gorgeous communion dress I bought at Nordstroms. I ordered 2 sizes in hopes that one would fit if this other didn't. No luck. If your daughter has even a remotely wide foot, these shoes won't work. Too bad. I loved them.

Not worth the money; not a communion shoe

If you are looking for a "milk" white shoe for a first communion, this is not the right shoe. It is off white and does not perfectly match a communion dress. In addition, it has little, if any, sheen - quite matte, so if you want a sheen, again, this is not the correct shoe. The strap is truly beautiful, but the quality is a bit below average for this price range. The one I received had roughed up sections on the front of the shoe (leather was not smooth). In addition, the sides of the sole, were poorly "painted" light brown, (you could see the lighter color of the rubber pushing through and there were visible brush strokes) -looked cheap. In addition, you could see glue residue in way too many areas where the sole was attached to the shoe. I was very disappointed, to be totally honest and hope that Nordstrom will stock a genuinely white, dressy shoe some day.

I bought these for my granddaughter's First Holy Communion. They are just perfect for the occasion ... simple yet very pretty because of the decorative strap and enough of a heel to let her feel like a "big girl." She loves them and so does her mom ... can't do better than that. We bought them a little big to allow for "grow room," so I would say that the fit is great. I hit a home run the first time out!
