Firstly, I have been a loyal Nordstrom client since 1985. I have strayed to B*rney's on a few occasions, however, I always return to Nordstrom as their products are consistent and their Customer service is always exceptional.
Last month (Feb 2014# I was shopping for white long-sleeve polo shirts. I've always purchased Ralph Lauren and at one time the Nordstrom brand #when it was offered#.
Sadly, I purchased online 2 of the white C & B LS Polos. When they arrived, I immediately notice how thin the fabric was #I am aware of the characteristic of "dry tec" products however even by those standards, these were "silk veil thin". Well, after one afternoon of Golf. My collar and cuffs were soiled as expected. I laundered them and to my surprise, the fabric retained the soiled stains. Again, I washed them using Tide products including their "spot stain" spray. Again, the soiled stains remained. One more time brought the same results. As I have always maintained impeccable hygiene, I was extremely disappointed with this product. I have UA and N*ke "dry tec" shirts and I have never, ever had this problem.
This product line does not deserve to be included as a Nordstrom product offering.

I bought a white one and a navy one and when I washed them, warm no bleach, together, the color on the navy one ran on the white one. Didn't see any instructions to the contrary.
This is a nice looking shirt. My husband, who wears it, is 6' tall and it is long enough to easily tuck in and stay. The fabric is light weight and has a piqué texture which makes it look less like the shiny tech fabric and more like a traditional polo. It drapes nicely, not too blousey or too slinky.
