Prosgentle, thorough
I've been a Lancome Bi-facil user for years and thought it was the best product out there. After getting the MAC remover as a sample, I tried it and have made the switch. This product seems to dissolve the eye make-up, rather than just physically removing it. But, it's also gentle on my skin.

Not so good for waterproof mascara

I have used Sephora's waterproof eye make-up remover for a few years. I wanted to try something I could get at Nordstrom because, well, Nordstrom. I read lots of great reviews for this product. Many of them touting the lack of oily feeling to this remover. That part I fully agree with, there is no oily residue or feel to this product. I use Dior Iconic Overcurl Mascara in the waterproof formula and this remover did not do a very good job of removing it. I will go back to a true waterproof remover. If I wore non-waterproof mascara, I would be very happy with this product.

I finally upgraded my eyeliner from a drug store brand to the MAC Liquid Last liner. It goes on smooth and lasts all day. With that being said, I could no longer remove it at night with my normal eye makeup remover. I purchased this MAC remover thinking that it surely would remove another MAC product, but it did not work at all. I'm going to look into returning it. It would have been nice to know whether it works on removing specific MAC products or not. Like maybe a notice that it doesn't remover waterproof or long-wearing eye makeup?
Prosgentle, non-greasy, skin-soothing, works great
This is the very best eye makeup remover I've ever used and I'm simply amazed how you can use it and then immediately apply eye makeup again. No smudges, no mess, no oils, just apply and it removes everything, including waterproof makeup, and you have clean skin that is ready for a new application of eye makeup. It also does a great job on removing all my other makeup as well, although it's a bit pricey for using on my entire face every day. I use a couple of other less expensive brands for my skin, but only MAC Pro Eye Makeup Remover on my eyes. No irritations, no redness, no rubbing, just apply to a cotton pad and let that pad rest on your closed eye for a minute and wipe clean. It can also be used with a Q-tip to remove any mistakes or tiny smudges without affecting the rest of your makeup and dries in seconds.
If you're on the fence about trying it, start with the small travel bottle. Rest assured, you won't be disappointed! This truly is magic in a bottle!
