best waterproof eyeliner

Prossmudgable, long-lasting, stays in place
I use this on a daily basis. The color pigment is good and the waterproof sets just seconds after application. That is a great feature if you want to smudge. I find this is the only product that tolerates this heat so if I am outside my make up stays in place without smearing. Has a built in sharpner I do not use.

I WOULD RATHER SPEND $30 ON ONE AWESOME SMUDGE-PROOF EYE PENCIL FROM CHANEL THAN 10 CHEAPER ONES FROM A DRUG STORE. MY 23 YR OLD DOESN'T WEAR EYE MAKE UP BUT SWEETLY ASKED IF SHE COULD KEEP MY SANTAL PENCIL. IT LOOKED SO BEAUTIFUL WITH HER BIG BLUE EYES, I COULDN'T SAY NO. JUMPED ONLINE TO BUY ANOTHER & ALSO GOT 3 FREE COSMETIC SAMPLES TOO! CHANEL NEVER DISAPPOINTS. THERE'S A REASON WE MIDDLE AGED WOMEN STILL LOOK 30! QUALITY SKIN CARE & COSMETICS.

Proseasy to blend, smudgable, long-lasting, color payout
This is my second purchase of the same color. I have differnet colors as well. Espresso is my favorite. I tried the gel eyeliner before. It's a nice option but I don't have time to wash the brush each time I use it. It's a process. so, I prefer to use a quality pencil eyeliner. This one does the job... very well. Pros: 1) Retractable with sharpener on the end => I don't like to waste product so love this feature. Sharpener is an option if you want a precise finish. I just use liquid eyeliner to wing out the end. 2) Glides on easily = great for tightlining and lining above the lash line. It doesn't tug the skin 3) Smudges easily with pencil/smudging brush if you want to soften the line 4) Long wearing - once it sets it stays! Does not move, smear, or transfer to lower lash line even after a long sweaty workout! Most pencil eye liners I tried transfers to lower lashes at some point. 5) Long lasting - This maybe subjective. I use it EVERYDAY and it lasted me 5 months. Sharpening pencil type doesn't last me that long. 6) Color intensity = you can make it soft, or bold/intense as needed.
Cons: 1) Little pricey - but then again it's Chanel.
Bottom line: you get what you pay for on this product. If price point doesn't deter you this is worth trying out. I tried Urban Decay, Makeup Forever, Nars, and many others in between. This is my favorite so far!
