Chanel's violine is the best purple eyeliner as far as color.Great with brown eyes. It has a subtle irridesence. But it takes a number of applications for the color to appear. Nars will apply easier and their purple is almost the same color and MUCH longer lasting.

I've purchased dozens of eyeliners throughout the years and still couldn't find one that lasts more than 5 mins without running and making me look like a raccoon. Finally, I am very impressed with this one. It lasts all day and doesn't smear. Love it. Thank you chanel!!
