I have purchased this pencil many times. However, the quality of the Chanel pencil is not the same and I have been using it for a few years. This is the first time the pencil is actually breaking.
I have to say the only reason I would reach for this pencil in my drawer would be for the color. Other than that it did not perform a full day. It faded and slid off in a matter of hours. Sadly, the pencil a a thicker width so that you need to sharpen it fairly consistently. That said, they have included a compact sharpener in the end of the pencil case.
The last 2 times I've purchased this, the lead has slipped down and there's not much of the lead. It doesn't last long. But, it's long lasting if you get one that has the lead.
