Classic Hoop Earrings

These are my favorite earrings. The sales associate said, "Be careful and do not spray perfume or hairspray after you have put the earrings in, or else the perfume or hairspray can tarnish the finish on these earrings."
I promise to follow this advice, because my last pair, turned colors, but I love these earrings so much, I wanted another pair. HaHa

I'm usually allergic to earrings that are not 14k gold. In the past I've gotten "nickel free" earrings but had to take them off in less than an hour because of my skin's reaction. I wasn't sure these would be any different even though they claimed to be nickel free. I received them tonight and wore them for a couple hours. So far so good! I'll see how my ears hold up over the next couple days. If they don't make my ears itch (and it seems they probably won't) then I'm happy to have found an affordable alternative to 14k gold! Also, the size is perfect, they seem very durable, and I like the closure.

Nice, simple gold hoops... Thought they were a little bigger but size is fine for everyday wear.

Perfect Except For Closure

They are really light weight and, what I consider the perfect size. My only negative comment is the closure isn't all that tight and I find I am always checking to make sure I haven't lost one. If I wouldn't have had a Nordstrom's Note to use, I would have sent them back because they weren't worth the original price. If the closure was better I would have given them 5 stars.
