Prosgentle, foamy, good for daily use, nice aroma
I am always looking for products that are a pleasure to use. this is one of them. i really hate the perfumed 'commercial' shampoos on the market that are so harsh they do more harm than good. this shampoo does what it says. nice, gentle lather and with a nice, subtle aroma. rinses clean and gives a nice texture to my hair. i'm hooked on this product.
I was shopping at Nordstrom for a completely different item and the lady helping me was so nice! After we spoke for a while she explained that she worked in a different department than the one I was shopping at - Kiehl's. I've been looking to change my hair products for a whole and I've had good experience with Kiehl's brand before so I asked for advice. She recommended I use the Amino acid shampoo along with the Olive Oil conditioner since my ends are prone to drying.
This shampoo has a light coconut smell and nice consistency. It's easy to apply but after I use it my hair feels a little dry. It almost seems like a clarifying shampoo rather than moisturizing. I really wanted to like this item so I gave it a month before I wrote the review. So far, I am quite disappointed. My hair roots get oily on the 3rd day and my scalp starts to itch. I've done my research and while these signs speak of sulfates, I understand this is a sulfate-free product. It's sad, but I am returning it.
