When I used this product in my wild Mediterranean hair, there was a visible improvement. It was silkier, as advertised! Yet, I didn't notice any lasting effect, as in any change as a result of application. I had to have the product in my hair for my hair to be tamed. I wish I could have seen a long-term effect! Also, the bottle is so difficult to work with. It's definitely not user-friendly, and I could see that alone being a turn-off.
If you have normal-ish hair, maybe this product (the bottle aesthetics aside) will be a great fit for you. For me, it was only okay.

Proseffective, best product
My favorite all time hair product for wavy, dry hair. Does not smell, does not stick, not greasy ,does the job!! I hope they never stop making this.Used it for probably 20 years.

I LOVE Kiehls everything. I really do. So, I didn't think twice when I purchased this. However, I really do not like this product... It makes my hair very stiff and snarly and adds a ridiculous amount of volume, which I don't need because I already have thick hair. Perhaps if you are looking for a volumizing creme this would be awesome for you, but even then, i still wouldn't recommend it because it makes your hair feel so stiff and greasy and snarly... there are much better Kiehls products out there...

I always get complimented on my strong, shiny hair - especially by hair stylists! I attribute it to good genes, good diet, and Kiehl's Creme with Silk Groom. I apply to my ends every evening after I get out of the shower, comb through, and then blow dry. A little goes a long way - a bottle will usually last well over a year.
