I absolutely love this purchase. I took a risk buying this item not knowing what I'd actually be getting. I have extremely oily skin and this non-oily cream balances my skin. It's a great price for the quantity that comes in the 4 oz container. I was previously paying double the price and not getting the same results, and was probably getting a lesser amount.

Proslightweight, absorbs quickly, non-greasy
This is without a doubt the best moisturizer for oily-prone skin. While I am not a "devoted" Kiehl's user, as my soap and toner are from the line with the "Black Soap", I have used this moisturizer since 1978, long before Kiehl's entered the department store market, when you had to purchase from their NYC store in person.
It absorbs quickly, has no scent, leaves no "greasy" residue and most importantly has NO SPF. SPFs always feel like you are putting on Coppertone Suntan lotion to your face, especially if you tend to be oily.
I have tried other moisturizers and even other Kiehl's moisturizers, yet I alway revert back to this. It does what it is suppose to do...moisturize. No lifting, no firming,no extra hydration, no "medical" claims, just a basic facial moisturizer...it is really all you need.

The skin on my nose and near my mouth are flaking like crazy ever since I started using this. So embarrassing! I feel like Goldmember from Austin Powers. I have combination skin but maybe this is intended for truly oily skin, unlike what the product description reads. Unfortunately, I'm returning this.
