I didn't like this for my color treated hair. After I flat ironed my hair it appeared dry. Thought it would look healthier like another product I've been using.
I love this stuff! I have natural, 4c hair and it's hard to find a straightening product to use on damp hair that's lightweight, not greasy and not chockful of chemicals. The light, citrusy scent is a big plus and the silk powders make it hard to keep your hands out of your hair, haha. Hands down, the best part is that it significantly cuts down on styling time since you only need a pass or two with your heat tools. I'm used to needing heavier balms and pomades to get my hair to straighten but adding heat to this cream really does something to tame your hair texture.
A tip if you've got type 4 hair like me, though - it's reasonably strong against humidity, but I wouldn't depend on it for all day hold if you live in a hot or humid area and/or sweat from your scalp a lot. I live in GA and my hair loves to revert at the slightest hint of moisture, but with this cream it only ends up with that days-old-blowout-with-thick-roots texture instead of going back to full blown kinks and coils. If you use it with a gel or cream with a stronger hold, your style will last longer.
I have medium thickness wavy hair. When I use this product it definitely help control frizziness and controls the waviness. I would not go without this product in my hair arsenal.
