I have combo to dry skin. I wear high end full coverage foundation, use good brushes/sponges and value quality. This moisturizer is hands down the greasiest I have EVER encountered. I’ve been on a quest to find the perfect balanced moisturizer and this was the worst. I’ve purchased the Ultra Face Wash, Creme De Corps lotion as well as the Rosa Arctica Creme and this moisturizer was a HUGE disappointment. Took it back immediately.
I wish I would have read the ingredients before purchasing this. It contains parabens which I am not happy about. I would expect more from Kiehl’s. On top of this, it literally burns my face when I apply it. It’s unbearable pain almost like torture. After I apply it and I put makeup on, I have crazy dry areas and I know for sure it’s NOT my makeup because I did not have the same problem before with my old moisturizer. So sad, I had such high hopes for this moisturizer especially after reading all of these glowing reviews. Unfortunately for me, even if it worked super well, the fact that it has parabens is an absolute killer for me and I will be returning it. *sigh*
