Full authority as a complex, animalic and independent scent, this is also a great base to boost your favorite cologne. Original Musk is marketed gender neutrally, but have to say, this is definitely a masculine fragrance.
Lighter than I expected after having read reviews from several sites . After many days of wearing Kiehls by itself, I find it best suited for my taste when layered with Jovan Musk. I prefer a more dominant musk and that combination succeeds. .

I love musk fragrances. But, this was a disappointment unfortunately because I like products by Kiehls. I applied it and the aroma disappeared. i applied again and (and again a day later) and still could not smell any remnants of the fragrance within a 1/2 hour or so... wahhh! It will sit on my dressing table until I find another. Could it be the bottle I got? maybe, but i can't return because the box it came in has been recycled - so there...
