Kiehls products have been some of my favorites for years. Thought I’d purchase this scent for my husband. He loves it, and I love it on him. Great value when compared to similar products.
I love musk scents, and randomly saw this one on Nordstrom.com and was reminded of it, along with the memory of a family member who used this as their signature scent. It was on sale, so I bought it, expecting the scent to bring back memories.
It brought back memories alright, but instead of fond ones, it rekindled memories of cheap Avon perfume, worn by elderly chain smoking women. It smells overly floral, and strongly of alcohol. In fact, upon spraying it, the only thing you can really smell, is alcohol, with an undertone of what I can only really describe as, WD-40.
Not sure what they did to this formula, but it’s nothing like it used to be, and I see several other reviewers saying the same thing. Wish I would’ve seen those reviews before purchasing, but Nordstrom seems to be purposely putting positive reviews from over a decade ago, at the top, and hiding the most recent reviews, many of which are negative.
One thing’s for sure, the bottle is going back.
Don’t waste your time, or money.

I really was looking forward to this, i like all musk things. Overwhelming strong smell, not Musky at all. It smells like an old perfume that hasn’t been open since 1959! No Bueno!
