I have gone back and forth from Skinceuticals Phloretin to this product a few times and this time I will stick with Dr. Gross. You can use this with a red light tool at night and get great results. I don't use it in the morning because it has the Dimethicone in it and I find it can pill under sunscreen/moisturizer. The most valuable aspect of this for me is the airtight pump packaging. I aways wonder how much efficacy I am missing with the liquid dropper Vitamin C products out there and you can see it oxidize over time. This product causes a lot less irritation and I am sure it is effective for the last use as it was for the first.

I thought that this product would change my life...for better, not for worse. This product has a very silky, silicone-like texture that feels nice on the fingertips, but not on the face. This stuff just sits on top of the skin and as soon as you apply a moisturizer or eye cream, it will ball up and roll off of your face. Nighttime really is the only time that you could use it because it doesn't work well with any other product. Forget applying your makeup over this product if you intend on using it during the day because you will find yourself becoming extremely frustrated with both the process and the outcome. I also found myself with a ton of blackheads after only using it for a few days and blackheads are very uncommon for me. Lastly, the pump sticks on the bottle which ends up leaving you with either too little or too much product. I found this to be the case with a couple of tester bottles as well, so it must be common. Obviously, it is extremely expensive, especially for a very small amount and the only reason that I now have a problem with the cost is because of the poor quality and the fact that there are better, more fairly priced products out there. I will go back to my tried and true Kiehl's Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate, which I can use daily along with any other product I like.
The entire Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare system is fantastic. I'm really bad at keeping up with a program on a daily basis. However, with this system, you notice results so quickly that the gratification keeps you going. I use the products once a day, in the evening. I really enjoy the time I spend on my face, for the first time ever. The Vitamin C is made to be used all of the time. The rest of the line you can work a few times a year as needed.
