rips and tears within a year

These towels don’t seem to be made as quality as in prior years. While drying off my family members have had these towels tear. Very thin material. I won’t be buying these again.
Purchased on sale. Size of bath towel is perfect. Fabric good. I bought the yellow color hoping to brighten our bathrooms but color of fabric was a dull mustard. It's for this reason I took off a star.

I can’t speak for the colored towels because I bought white. But I have to say these towels are amazing. They are a little linty until you get past the first few washes. So maybe send them through the washer/dryer at least twice before you use them, and then understand that it may take another one or two washes to be completely lint free. But they are so plush and soft! And they absorb so well..yet dry really easily too. They are worth dealing with the little bit of lint at first. I’ve never owned towels this nice before. I bought them during the anniversary sale but I’m going back for more!
