I have purchased many white hydrocotton towels since 2012. My closets have three brands of towels. They are Nordstrom Hydrocotton, Macy’s Hotel Collection and Ralph Lauren towels. I ordered two bath towels and two washcloths on August 21, 2023. I received the bath towels on August 25, 2023. I have not received the washcloths. I don’t know if I received two hydrocotton bath towels that were intended to be shipped to a local car wash business to hand wash vehicles. I plan to return them. I have included a photo for comparison to an unopened hydrocotton bath towel I ordered from Nordstrom last year. By the way, I am addicted to white luxurious bath towels. This is why the towel from last year has not been opened. I have a surplus of new towels. Please view the picture, the towel on the left was received August 25, 2023 and the towel on the right was purchased last year. The luxury towel on the right has a chevron trim pattern. The “car wash” towel on the left has a non-chevron trim pattern. The towel on the left is super thin/super light weight. The towel on the right is what I currently use in my spa style bathroom. I also provide the luxurious towels to my guests. I have never submitted a photo with a review. I could not keep this great disappointment a secret. There is another disappointing fact … I ordered more washcloths during the recent anniversary sale and they have the chevron trim pattern. Yet, the bath towels recently received have the non-chevron trim pattern. Please note, I have not received the two washcloths ordered August 23, 2023. If they have the non-chevron trim pattern, I will return them because they will not match the many bath towels I currently have with a chevron trim pattern. My major disappointment is the lack of a thick, luxurious, spa style towel. I am well-aware that some of your items have decreased in quality. This low quality, high price marketing product is what I received on August 23, 2023.
