I use this over my liquid foundation. I have terrible redness so I lightly put on liquid then a slight finish up with this. Have used all kinds of brands but this is not so talc-y like the orhers. It is a little messy but so are all loose powders so you just have to be careful.
I am very picky about mineral powders and foundations in general. Laura Mercier Mineral Powder is the best I've found since Prescriptives stopped making their mineral powder. This mineral powder provides excellent coverage while giving the skin a dewy, glow - even on days when applied more heavily for special events. All that I use underneath is concealer for undereye circles and any blemishes. This is a great product.

Great mineral powder

Proslight, flawless, natural
It's so hard for me to find the right shade in mineral powder. In the other popular brand, the most common one was 'orangy' on my face. This powder in Real Sand is medium based and looks amazing over LM tinted moisturizer. I use oil-free and I have not broken out at all from any of the LM products I use. I love LM makeup and this is one of my favorites!

Great coverage but messy when traveling

I love this loose powder. It provides great coverage and a flawless look. However, it's messy when traveling with it.
