Proslight, flawless, natural, beautiful, sheer
This powder is the perfect face powder, for that non-makeup finish. I love the mineral finish, it is very lightweight and I don't feel like I am wearing makeup. I use the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer as a base and then finish and 'set' the moisturizer with this powder. I apply it with a kabuki brush which works perfectly! I would HIGHLY recommend this product as well as ANY Laura Mercier product!

First off, let me say that, in general, I like Laura Mercier products, especially her secret concealer. I have a clear and fairly even complexion and was after something light for the summertime, since my normal foundation does not hold up very well to a hot, humid climate. Mineral makeup seems to be the recommended cure for this kind of weather, and it's true that it holds up well even in Southern heat and humidity. In order to come up with the right color, I have to mix two different powders, which isn't a big deal. But, what is bothersome about this product is that, when I get even a little bit warm, my face starts itching like crazy...the kind of itching that makes you want to run to the sink and wash your makeup off...not exactly an option for the middle of the workday! And, when I do take it off, my skin is red and irritated even after it's had time to calm down again.
I was surprised that this product reacted this way with my skin because I didn't see any reviews to this effect, and generally my skin is not sensitive. I keep my brushes clean and do not over apply. I tried Bare Essentials before this product and had the same reaction, so maybe it's just me and mineral makeup, but I thought I'd pass the information on all the same.
Incidentally, the overall finish is not nearly as natural looking as other products out there, and it feels a bit too heavy if you are use to weightless foundation.

Laura Mercier powders are the best. I have medium to light skin with a tinge of yellow and the Natural Beige works great for me. This powder goes on great over just about any surface - I use the tinted moisturizer first or the powder mineral primer (love that) for smoothness. You can layer more on or use a quick dusting of an application and have a super nice finish. Clean looking, with the SPF, and a nice glow without a shimmer or frosty look as some mineral powders leave. You will love it! Esp if over 40!
