Best mineral foundation

Best mineral foundation I’ve tried nice and glow. Wears nicely throughout the day even as it starts to wear off does so evenly. Perfect for the heat as it feels nice and light on the skin but provides as much coverage as you would like. Natural radiant finish

Recently had laser treatment on my face and needed a light weight, non clogging foundation for my face. Never used mineral powder or Laura Mercier products, however this was recommended by a super lovely assistant in the Islington SpaceNK. Feels nice on my skin, super lightweight - like I'm not wearing make-up and I can build the coverage from light to heavy (although never wear heavy to be honest!) The colour (natural beige) suits my skin tone and overall I am really pleased! Great option for Spring/Summer when you don't really want heavy makeup on the skin.

Great coverage for sensitive skin

I have been using the Laura Mercier Mineral Powder since BECCA discontinued their mineral foundation and then their Multi-Tasking powder (devastated both times). So I was delighted and relieved when I tried this Laura Mercier Mineral Foundation as it covered my redness and any papules that I get with rosacea without irritating my skin. It also doesn't accentuate my pores and wrinkles, it looks luminous and has the additional bonus of being SPF 15. It's also really quick and easy to apply as I hate having to blend liquid foundation. So I am devastated as I have recently had it confirmed that Laura Mercier are discontinuing this wonderful foundation. So I'm now on the hunt for my next HG foundation.

More of a coverage than a finishing powder

Although long-lasting I would suggest this is for coverage rather than for dusting over as a light veil. It's great for baking over concealer on blemishes if the concealer is dry first (as it will look too cakey applied on wet concealer or foundation). It does leave a 'blurred focus' effect, more of a natural matte than high shine, but the tone will be the most important as it has more of a pigment to it than the usual finishing powders. The SPF factor is really enough to offer any sun protection if you're spending longer than 15 minutes outside.
