I absolutely love this dress. Yes, it is long. I am 5`5" and the dress, in a 2 Regular, comes to the bottom of my calf. It is a great alternative to a full length dress and what I was looking for. I don't have to pick up the dress off the floor and is still dressy enough to g to social functions such as the symphony, opera, weddings, etc.
Cute fun dress. Great color. I liked dress, fit great everywhere except my hips for which the dress went flat as apposed to pleated. Probably would have fit better for me personally with a bigger size. I returned it.
I bought the dress for an upcoming wedding but decided it may be too dressy for the occasion. I love that Nordstrom offers free return shipping or easy return at the store. I found a dress at their store and was pleased with the selection.
I purchased this to use as a purple bridesmaids dress, and as it turns out, the grapetini color was too blue for the bride, so back it went. It also hit my leg in a weird spot. I'm 5'7 and it hit at the widest part of my calf--definitely not a flattering spot. It was worth a shot though.
