I wanted to like this dress

But I just couldn't. The other reviewers were right in that there is just too much fabric around the mid-section. The top part is cute and fit well. But the bottom was much too long and I was afraid that hemming it would ruin the fluidity of the dress.
I think you need to be super tall to pull this off. Or be comfortable having a dress hit you mid calf.
The photo on the model shows it hitting right below the knee which is what I was hoping for.
I ordered this dress according to my bust size, not hip size, and I was worried about the fit. I got it and it fit beautifully. The pleats hide any flaws and the empire-ish waist is very flattering. I was able to move and dance in this dress without feeling like I was going to have a wardrobe malfunction. This is a terrific LBD!
