These are very nice looking loafers but I had two problems with them and had to return them. First they are too wide for my feet. I fit fine in 9M Eccos and Cole Haan shoes but these are much wider than those brands. Also the soles were not as comfortable under foot as those other brands. This surprised me since Mephisto is known for the comfort of their shoes. The innersole is glued in and not removable and not cushioned as I expected. The soles are quite thin and feel more like a driving moc but not in a good way. I also went down a half size and that pair was too wide too and then too short. I wanted to like them but had to return them.
This is my third pair(dog got to first). Black and Brown. They are so comfortable and everyone comments on how good looking they are. I highly recommend. They are my favorite shoes.
My husband loves this issue. It is so comfortable. I put it on the phone with a salesman no food involved and he was correct in size everything he told me was correct. I am so glad I chose Nordstrom’s to make this purchase
