Shishedo hydro-balancing softener

I have been using the Shishedo hydro-balancing softener for several years. I put it in a spray bottle and mist my face after cleansing and before moisturizer. I really like how it makes my skin feel. The fragrance is mild yet pleasatn.
This softener/lotion works very well if you're a fan of the skin care techniques outlined in Chizu Saeki's brilliant book "The Japanese Skincare Revolution". One element crucial to Chizu Saeki's regimen is a "lotion mask", requiring a softener such as this one. I'm prone to hormonal acne, hyperpigmentation and uneven dryness/oiliness. Within 2 days of using this product, my skin truly looked smoother and better. After 10 days of using the product, I no longer feel like I have "bad" skin. This product has earned a permanent spot on my bathroom counter.

I love that this toner has zero alcohol . It leaves my skin feeling very soft and hydrated. I usually squirt a little on my hand and splash across for my face.
I use this after cleansing, before applying my moisturizer. I like to put a squirt on a cotton or just in my hand and spread over my face for a refreshing feeling. It is not drying or stinging.
