Prosgentle, milky, soothing, light
This is the absolute best. I use waterproof mascara in the summer and this takes it off beautifully, but it is also gentle enough just to wash your face with. It feels wonderful and rinses completely off and leaves your skin silky smooth. This is even better than the La Mer cleansing oil that costs twice as much.

This cleansing oil is really soft for my sensitive skin. The oil will not be emulsify even it touch the water. But it really do nice job on cleaning even you feel nothing on your face.
This beautifully light cleansing oil dissolves all the "stuff" we put on our faces to look pretty and to protect us from the sun. If you use a primer, waterproof makeup, sunscreen, BB creme or silicone based skin products..........this cleansing oil is a must. Use this as a simple first step, it rinses off easily with water, then cleanse your face as you normally would.......your pores will thank you with glowing healthy skin.
I apply the Shiseido Ultimate Cleansing Oil to my dry face to dissolve my makeup then I rinse with water and use my Clarisonic brush with Shiseido Cleansing Foam or Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleanser.

The oil cleanser is the first step in my makeup removing routine and the Shiseido oil is a good option if you have heavy sunscreen on your face. Although it is said that it washes off with warm water, that is not enough. You have to use a foaming wash that is why I consider it as a first step in the cleansing routine. It also removes easily mascara, water-resistant, waterproof or regular, without the need to rub hard .
