I first received this as a sample when I bought the Shiseido sunscreen (the best) and was really impressed. It is very effective and rinses clean. I like that it comes in a pump bottle. I did find that I have to gently rub it into the eye area when wearing long-wear eyeliner to make sure that it all is removed. I follow with a gentle cleanser and my skin gets very clean but not stripped of moisture.

I am all about the texture of a product and this is really amazing. When you first put it on, it feels oily, but it washes off clean with no oily residue--so it feels like all the makeup and dirt is removed, but you have a clean feeling--not dry or oily.

Great Makeup Remover

This cleansing oil removes strong (and long-lasting) sunblock and foundations. It is also exceptional at removing waterproof eye and lip products as well. Apply onto dry face with dry (clean) hands and your makeup will begin to melf off. When you wet your face, the oil will emulsify and turn white. As you rinse your face, the white residue will become less apparent and your face is makeup free. However, it does leave a bit of a filmy texture, so it is best to follow up with a gentle cleanser afterwards. This cleansing oil is a makeup REMOVER not a cleaser. It's a great alternative to the Shu Uemura cleansing oil which is triple the price (but comes in a larger container) - also, Shiseido is more readily available than Shu Uemura. I would say 2-3 will suffice for your entire face. Used nightly on a routine basis, this bottle will last me up to 8ish months.

Great Product

Prosgentle, smooth and silky
This oil based cleanser is great for removing makeup such as Revlon's Colorstay makeup and also removes waterproff mascara with little effort. Shiseido leaves you face feeling soft. I read about it in Whole Living. I have recommended it to my freinds.
