Light foundation

This is a very light weight foundation but has nice coverage. I use the foundation brush to get an even application. I don't need a lot of coverage but it is perfect to even out my skin tone. I finish with the Trish powder foundation.

I like this foundation because it goes on smooth and evenly. I can apply a light coverage or add more where I need more coverage.

I've been using this for years. It's nice and lightweight. I haven't found another one I
Ike better.

Of course you want sunscreen in your foundation, but apparently some of the best foundations can't include it and still provide the benefits they do.
Here's how I, admittedly a rank amateur when it comes to skin care and makeup, handle the lack of sunscreen in Trish McEvoy's critically acclaimed "Even Skin" foundation, which some Nordstrom reviewers complain doesn't apply evenly but with which I have experienced no problem. (Yes, it's thin, but it won't run away, and you'll learn how to work with and appreciate it. if you want more coverage, layer.)
After your balancing lotion and serum, preferably with vitamin C, apply Trish's Beauty Booster Cream SPF 30, a moisturizer and primer, or La Roche Posay's Anthelios 50 Mineral sunscreen, tinted or untinted, plus a moisturizer, and finally Trish's foundation, which earned the highest (five-star) rating from Beautypedia online. For summer in the subtropics, living under what meteorologists tell us is a "heat dome," I use "3" in the foundation, which, with a slightly tinted sunscreen, confers full-on seasonally appropriate color.
Can such a product appear both natural and transformative? In this case, yes. Be the best version of you. We can all drink a chilled bottle of spring water to that!
