BE sacrifices animals for the sake of beauty!

Prosgoat hair! yuck!
I am soooooo disgusted. I bought this brush, assuming that BE was a company that does not test on animals AND does not use animal products (hair) (which is just as bad as animal testing because how the hair is acquired.) I used this brush to apply my product and broke out in itchy welts all over my face! I got online immediately and was informed that BE brushes are made from animal hair! Soft, amazing brushes can be made without sacrificing animals! I just bought cruelty-free brushes (synthetic) from The Body Shop and love them! I can now rest at night knowing that I will no longer support a company (BE) that sacrifices animals for the sake of beauty!

Sheds horribly!!

The coverage this brush provides is great. I have acne prone skin and I like the way this brush covers everything. The problem, however, and the reason why I gave it 2 stars, is that I had to spend more time trying to pick off the hairs that have shed off and onto my face, than I actually do applying my foundation. I realize brushes will begin to shed over time, but this one actually shed like crazy from the first use, which is not a problem I'd ever had with other BE brushes. For that reason alone, I feel like this was a waste of my money and wouldn't recommend this brush.

Prossheds, needles
It sheds. Feels like it's made of needles, not goat's hair, on my skin. I don't look forward to using it on my face at all. Not painful but not enjoyable.

Little Brush with TONS of potential

Prosmust have, covers and blends
I love this brush and have used it every day for the last 5 years (at least) and until now, it has not shed at all. I use it to apply my foundation and it works perfectly by adding just enough coverage. It's also a great blending brush if you find you go a little too heavy on the blush or bronzer. Also, unlike some of the other reviewers, I actually appreciate that this brush is compact, it means it can travel just about anywhere and not take up a load of space. Sadly, after 5 years of using it...the bristles have begun to come loose from the bottom. I am not walking but RUNNING to my nearest Bare Minerals store to replace this little guy and retire the old one.
