Very good wool socks, stay put, don't shrink much, reliable! My husband loves these in mid-calf but, due to an injury, no longer can pull them up all the way, so we purchased these shorter socks, fully expecting that they would "slip down" -- being more like anklets. Nope! They stay put! Easy to pull on, pull off. Just the ticket! Finding wool socks that are not too thin and not too thick ("just right") was impossible until we found these, at Nordstrom's (of course!)
Excellent product at a fair price Most brands of men’s socks, price not withstanding, come in come in one size fits all, which means it properly fits size 9 to 10 medium width, and not much else. I wear a 3E width shoe and am happy to find a sock that fits.
Good quality socks but sizes are way off. I read another review saying the same thing before I purchased them, so I bought a size smaller. I am a thirteen, and bought the 10-12 size. I shrank them in hot water and high heat in the dryer, and they are still too big.
After seeing these socks recommended by many different sources, I decided to give them a try. The quality is very nice. The socks are thick enough to withstand use without tearing apart, yet thin enough to remain comfortable in warmer weather. The sharp seam on the big toe can be a bit bothersome as other reviews have mentioned; however, it is has not been much a problem for me, and it can be easily repositioned to a more comfortable spot. The only problem I have is with the socks staying up. They hold up well for the most part, but do begin to fall down, perhaps because of my larger calves. I intend to purchase the over the calf socks as they extend further up the leg. Overall, I am happy with this product, but I will be purchasing the longer version of them.
