I'm a big fan of this handbag. It really lasts. I already own a black (3+ years old) and a khaki (2+ years old) and just bought the same bag again in gunmetal (dark gray). It is a simple tote-style handbag. Leather handles are firm and sturdy. Handles fit over shoulder, even with a heavy coat on. Nylon bag is water resistant, but not water proof. Zipper closure keeps everything inside. I use it daily, as I did with my other Longchamp handbags, and it holds plenty of stuff without wearing out. I still use my older ones, they have not faded, worn holes, etc. They're still in great shape after years of daily use.
Perfect size for the minimalist ‘personal item’ carry-on. Holds my iPad, liquids bag, wallet, phone, power cord bag, small drink bottle, and other sundries. Corners on bottom wore through with occasional use, assuming from under the seat carpet on the plane. Took to Nordstrom’s to inquire about repair, and they instead sent me a new bag. I like it a lot. I’d give it 5 stars if it didn’t wear through in less than 20 trips.
