So close!

This bag is really lightweight and reasonably stylish in black with a wide shoulder/crossbody strap for comfort. There are a few things that make it fall a little short.
The comment about the snaps in the front pocket are true. They take some real strength to snap into place making the pocket inconvenient. The zipper to open the body of the bag is in the front of the bag and not, oddly, at the top. There is no pocket in the back for sliding in papers or a phone. It is a little small because it is fairly thin from front to back.
I have their small black tote which is also nice and lightweight but I really wanted a bag with a crossbody strap. Leather is really heavy to carry around all day so this material is wonderful.
This bag would be perfect with a few changes and some gold hardware. I hope they make new versions in the future.

Great bag for travel

Prosversatile, comfortable
I really like this bag a lot and I would give it 5 stars but the front flap is SO hard to snap that it's really unusable and there are no pockets or anything inside to separate your items. That being said it's the perfect crossbody shape and size and the strap is great and very comfortable. If you know longchamp, you know the nylon is sleek and durable and it's oh so chic looking when you're wearing it. I also bought an MZ Wallace Lizzie bag at the same time and I'm keeping them both. The MZW is my everyday bag because of all the pockets and organization but I like the look of my longchamp better so I kept it for travel.

Classic Crossbody Bag

Prosconservative, understated, classic
This bag is the epitome of an understated travel bag. The styling is a bit matronly but I love the impenetrable nylon material that will never show dirt or wear. It's a great size for all-day sight-seeing and will comfortably carry an iPhone, small camera, wallet, & lipstick. The two snaps on the front pocket are unnecessarily difficult to snap without using two hands (C'mon, Longchamp--we expect more from you!) so I won't put anything valuable in there. I may even get my local cobbler to make the snaps magnetic. My fav thing about this bag is the width of the strap. It lays perfectly across the body. This is a very nice bag for the conservative, well-heeled traveler. I wish it were a little more fashion-forward but am keeping it anyway.

Cute, but not very useful/practical

I was so excited to get this bag because I needed a nice, not too casual cross body bag. Unfortunately, there is not even one single compartment inside the bag....nada. So, everything I put in my purse was just thrown together. The other negative thing I found about this bag is the snap closure. The snaps are so hard to snap that I had to open the bag so I could apply pressure from within the bag to shut the flap. I used the bag once but I think it's going back this weekend and I'll wait for the next generation of this bag. Hopefully updates will be made to include at least one compartment inside the bag and magnetic closures.
