The BEST travel bag
PostedJune 30, 2013
Prosversatile, cute, functional
I bought this for a trip and love it so much I can't quit it! It's the perfect size, light in weight, a crossbody bag ( which means perfect to me) and very stylish. Highly recommend!

Great for Travel

Prospractical
This crossbody bag is perfect for sightseeing or shopping in an urban environment. Over the course of the day, it feels lighter and more comfortable than my Longchamp tote. I can fit a mini iPad inside along with my wallet, keys and some cosmetics. The outside pocket is great for a little tube of moisturizer or lipgloss. I don't put my phone in that pocket, but it could fit.
I am very happy with this bag and recommend it, especially for travel.

The Holy Grail

Prosversatile, comfortable, compact, quality, durable
I wish I were exaggerating when I say I looked for WEEKS for the perfect lightweight (non-leather) adjustable crossbody that would fit my usual stash- iPad, wallet, phones, keys, sunglasses, and small makeup bag- without looking like a diaper bag. Finally found it! It is compact but fits much more than you'd expect without bulging.
My only complaint is that the front pocket can be hard to snap shut without getting into the purse to push on it from the back. By no means a deal breaker for me, just wish maybe it was a magnetic closure or something.
I travel a lot and I can't wait to use this as my one go-to bag. The material is really nice looking- not cheap at all like some other non-leather bags- and can go with you day or night.

BEST. BAG. EVER. Travel/Daytime

Prostons of space, day or travel, lightweight, efficient design
Bought the taupe color version two or three years ago in an airport in Germany, wanting to spend the last of my Euros, and it has become my absolute most useful bag I own. It weighs nothing, and despite the small size the clever (as usual) Longchamp design means that in this little crossbody (or shoulder-double-strap, adjustable) bag I can fit:
- Lonely Planet guidebook
- half-size travel wallet or full size wallet
- full size length hairbrush (though a travel size one works better, of course)
- cell phone
- folded street map
- slim pack of tissues
- slim snapshot camera
- slim sunglasses case
- misc. small items - lip balm, keys, pen, etc.
Yes, I am serious! i mean, it's full at that point, but it's a heck of a lot easier, safer, and attractive to carry than a backpack - and it does not stand out like a 'travel' bag that marks you as a tourist. Put the guidebook in first, flat up against the back of the bag, and then pack it up.
To make the most of it for daytime use, I use one of the triangular-shaped Michael Kors "pencil cases" to put pen, lipstick, medicine, eyeliner, coins, and a tampon or two, and toss that in the bottom, and then throw in my sunglasses case, wallet, brush, keys, phone, and have plenty room left for a can of Red Bull, or a pair of winter gloves.
Best handbag I own, and the price cannot be beat. the ONLY downside is the strap is a heavy-duty nylon with a self-stiched "LONGCHAMP" name through it - which makes it optimal for travel, but also makes it a bit casual. However, when I'm on a long trip it is the only purse I take, and it's awesome. BTW - it flattens totally down for packing, which allows me to put it in the bottom of my Le Pliage so I can take an extra carry-on!
BUY IT!
