I wanted to love this bag as it is classic and a great size. Unfortunately, when I went to use it for the first time, the toggle scratched from removing the protective tape and there is glue/correction area on seam. To me, it makes it look cheap, especially at this price. I will be returning this bag and stay on my quest for the perfect black handbag.

Beautiful Tote

Proselegant, practical
This tote is one of my favorite bags. When I travel with my family, my kids inevitably hand me items and this bag manages to hold a great deal. The large size easily accommodates my iPad, wallet, cosmetics case, phone and snacks for the kids. It can get a little unwieldy in crowds, but fits nicely under the seat in front of me when traveling by plane. I get compliments on this bag often and highly recommend it.

Perfect Tote

Proscomfortable, classy
I am a collector of bags and this is perfect size, shape, color and handle drop. The leather is gorgeous and I look forward to carrying this for a long time...in rotation, of course.

Not as nice as expected

Prosexpected nicer
I wanted a nice tote for Spring. I currently have a black patent Burberry and hoped this would compare. Few problems with the Roseau tote.
1) The dimensions are actually 4" D, and it's too small for my needs.
2) It lacks enough structure to stand-up straight while empty
3) The leather is so smooth, it felt like vinyl. It did not look like a $500 handbag.
