I always enjoy Clinique products. I had read great reviews of the City Block Sheer daily face protector. The only thing I don't like (and many people may like) is that it dries very quickly when you put it on. I like a creamier surface when applying makeup over it. Other than that it seems to work well and the bottle is pretty big so I think it will last a while.

I returned this for two reasons. 1. After I received this item, the instructions advertised spf 40 (It was actually the wrong package insert). I was unaware that this product came in a higher spf (I just bought what a blogger recommended.) I asked a Clinique employee at a counter what the difference was between the two, and she said you would use this one for just maybe 1 or two hours outside and the super city block spf 40 if you were going to be outside for more than that. I want a product that I can put on over my moisturizer and not worry about my sun exposure length the rest of the day. I have red hair and fair skin. I certainly don't want to be caught out at a park with my daughter worrying about the time and if I'm going to get burned. So I returned it and may get the Super city block spf 40. The tinting was okay. However, I noticed I did seem to burn my eyes a bit since I did a full coverage application. It was a bit "dewy"/aka greasy feeling, so I'm not entirely sold on the product. I can't imagine putting on a moisturizer, this product, and then a BBcream or foundation.
Using for sun protection and a primer...great product

Prosabsorbs easily, lightweight, non-greasy
Women don't realize until it's too late how precious their facial skin is. Save your daughters skin; buy this for them. Sun spots are awful, this will save you from it and keep you natural looking. It's a wonderful product! This valleygirl knows!
