I purchased the Hunter Original High Gloss Boot in black over a year ago from Nordstrom and have only lightly worn them. The boot has very obvious cracks around both ankles and on top of both feet, where the boot naturally bends when you walk. I expected some 'wear and tear' would occur over time, but nothing to the extent that it has. Having paid the price I did for them, I am extremely disappointed in the product, which now have a permanent home in the back of my closet. I would not recommend this product.
Absolutely love these boots! They are very comfortable and seem to fit true to size. They were originally a little snug around the calf but with wear they are less snug. I ordered them in black and they are a great, versatile boot!
